HWACHONG TRIPLE CHAMPS :D :D :D

look at the banners hwachong on the terrace houses opposite the stadium, right in front of where we were all sitting. so damn cool. :)




anyway, i am so happy today. :D HWACHONG GOT TRIPLE CHAMPS TODAY AT TRACK & FIELD MEET. :) the hwachong spirit was damn strong today, almost blew me away haha. i'm so glad i went to the finals!! or else oh my goodness knows what i might have missed out. okay maybe i sound like im exaggerating but.. seriously the hwachong spirit was. so damn cool. i'm impressed by the high school councillors they can really do a good job of inspirting and motivating the juniors to cheer their hearts out for our school. :) we screamed and cheered and shook tin cans filled with green beans today. :) it felt damn good seeing hwachong trackers running on the track against those from other schools fighting for hwachong, the school spirit was so evident both on the track and on the sidelines. it felt so good yeah! :D today things didnt go as perfectly as we may want them to be, but its alright cause we're all doing it for hwachong and know that hwachongians will cheer you on no matter what. :) THATS THE SCHOOL SPIRIT MAN. haha. i dontknow why today just inspired me and i'm really damn proud of our school! i haven felt like this for a looong time. today kind of revived the enthusiastic part of us that has been stoning ever since orientation or something. :) and it felt good! haha i was telling some of my friends how zai the hc spirit is and they were like, haha we're used to it. i think i'm so fascinated because nanyang was never like THAT. we never cheered so LOUDLY and WILLINGLY. cheering was almost always a torture. i never felt so much of school spirit and shown so evidently. and today was a totally different experience. :) look at this photo, the high school councillors and our school's "flag" sort of thing. :)

when they were announcing the results for c div boys and they were saying some other school got second place, hwachong people were shouting "champions, champions!" :) and when it got to b div and some other school got second place again, it became "double champs, double champs!!" :D haha and the most exciting moment when they were announcing who got second for a div and when second isnt hwachong, :D :D :D "TRIPLE CHAMPS TRIPLE CHAMPS!!!!" and YEAH, TRIPLE CHAMPS IS WHAT WE'VE GOT. YEAH! then after that WE SANG THE SCHOOL SONG. :D HAHA so proud so proud so proud, although i didnt do anything much other than standing on the stands cheering and shaking tin cans filled with green beans, still damn proud. :) wheeee today is a happy day. it's not only about the triple champs, it's about the super imba hwachong spirit i saw today which i miss. :) haha my school is sometimes so stressful that i didnt know i can say i love hwachong again but today proved me wrong :) i'm so so very extremely proud of my school! i love hwa chong! :D

okay im here to update so to "push down" that bombastic car which scares weak people like jiayi. :D anyway. school has been alright, except maybe for pw EoM which is driving me crazy. all the deadlines are rushing towards us and i hate having to do last minute work, smth which i almost ALWAYS have to do. i'm making myself pay more attention in class in lessons in lectures and making myself do tutorials, at least do something instead of leaving everything blank. :) very good, the momentum better stay. haha.

ohya we had a dance performance at toa payoh hdb hub the previous tuesday for some civil service award presentation ceremony. the seniors were not involved at first, people had to learn new steps and perfect them in like, two days. on monday everyone almost went cranky with so many things to do and most importantly, the need to maintain the standard of our dear syf dance. :( performance day! the seniors saved our lives by deciding to come back and perform with us, for the very last time. it felt so good with the seniors, everything came back, everything became like how it once was, how it was meant to be. their presence made so much of a difference, you hear more noisy chattering, you hear more hearty laughs, you see more smiles and shiny eyes. you feel more confidence, in yourself and in our dance. for it's THE dance. :D once more. :) I LOVE THE SENIORS!!!!!!!

haha this photo is from the movie Die Hard 4.0. i watched it with munyee today! haha it's a friday, meaning 9.50 bucks, we were like wah so ex, better be good. haha at the end of the movie we both felt that it was worth the money :) look at the photo! it's this part where the guy used the car to crash this helicopter in the air. damn cool la. it was very action packed and fast paced oh my god very very exciting :) the images are damn cool la. hahaha go watch go watch! very enjoyable. :)

okay, sabbaticals ended, the last day we learnt some other sorts of latin dances. forgot all of them already though hahah. and progressively cha-cha which everyone dances in a circle and changes partner, quite fun but quite stupid at the same time. anyhow, although i cant stand going to school, i'm not very sad about the ending of dancesports. :) i think some of the people there are really irritating it pisses me off. haha but whaaaatever. :) school today! half-day half-day so cheeeeeeers, had some hci-edb vbc bbi thing. haha sounds like im talking in acronyms. but yeah, which is from like 12 to 4, luckily there are refreshments provided for us haha and my class totally just went out and started opening up those bags for the plates and opening up those food. :) so funny.

have dance tmr, syf!!!!! :D rehearsal for this performance at toa payoh hdb hub next tuesday (i think) for some civil service servants. hope to see the seniors tmr :) ohya talking about that, i saw the juniors on thursday morning! bunny and i managed to mix ourselves among the nanyang girls and i went to 402! saw dear chit, siyu, liping and vinette! hahaha siyu 要乖喔 tsktsk :) gave them all hugs before the nanyang morning assembly song started and we zao-ed to kap. i miss nanyang and the assembly song and the school and the juniors and the smell hahahaha and everything! :)

sabbaticals this week wed & thurs. :) dancesports. im quite glad to have quite a number of friends in there like sharon jiayuan huiping munyee. :) dancesports is something like.. ballroom dancing. but it's called a sport. cause according to melvin tan, dancesports uses up as much energy in 1 minute as when an athlete ran dontknowhowmany metres. 800m maybe. haha sounds quite incredible but rather unbelievable. maybe it's cause we're not doing it right. haha. :)

okay so today was about cha-cha, rock&roll, waltz and salsa. the funnest one was cha-cha, quite surprisingly. was half-awake for the rest of the 3 dances so dont think they are really interesting. waltz was quite fun, just moving here and there :) i was looking forward quite a lot to salsa cause i always thought it's damn cool but i guess the way they teaches the moves are quite so boring that i lost interest after rock&roll which everyone agreed was the boring-nest! surprisingly too. haha.

okay so thats sabbaticals. ONE MORE DAY TOMORROW. it's the okay get-it-done-and-over-with feeling in me now. actually should be grateful la since hc has like damn a lot of modules for us to choose from and they are actually mostly about rather fun and non-academic activities like dance, hiphop, wakeboarding, wind surfing, kayaking, fencing, inline skating and cooking and alot alot of stuff. :) possibly almost everything you can think of, while nanyang was like. environmental science, proteomics, rahhhhh which were about science and stuff. the only fun one was scuba diving i think, luckily i went for that last year instead of environmental science. haha memories man. :)

okay la shall go sleep already. waking up early tmr though dancesports starts at 915. hc is weird, putting our two days of sabbaticals on wed & thurs and school yesterday on tues and two days later on fri. so the sabbaticals are like right smack in the center of the week. haha they give us june holidays, then blocks, then 3 day break then it felt like holidays again (especially after the exams since we are quite used to nov and dec holidays right after exams in nanyang), then school for ONE DAY. then sabbaticals which are kind of more slack, THEN SCHOOL FOR ANOTHER ONE DAY. then WEEKEND. wheeeeeee need quite a lot of change of emotions man. :)
